Vitamin B2, chemically known as riboflavin, is an important member of the B vitamin family. As a water-soluble vitamin, vitamin B2 is sparingly soluble in water, relatively stable in neutral or acidic solutions, but extremely sensitive to light. 

• Food Industry: Core for Nutrient Fortification and Coloring 

Nutrient fortifier: Infant formula foods (milk powder, rice cereal), grain products (fortified flour, breakfast cereals), dairy products (fortified milk, yogurt), and beverages (sports drinks, compound fruit and vegetable juices).

Natural colorant: Utilizing its orange-yellow characteristic, it is used in small amounts in candies, pastries, and sauces to replace some artificial colorants, integrating both nutritional and coloring functions.

• Pharmaceutical and Health Field: For Prevention/Treatment of Deficiencies and Auxiliary Regulation

Treatment of Vitamin B2 deficiency: Formulated into tablets, oral solutions, eye drops and other dosage forms to treat symptoms such as "cheilosis, glossitis, scrotitis, and conjunctivitis" caused by deficiency.
